A thoughts about ANGER

What makes you angry? What makes you mad? I get angry when someone lied to me, when I missed a flight or when I heard people mistreated or got unfair justice.   I just want peace and equality and I’m sure you do want it as well.  Anyway, what do you do when you get angry? Me, I listen to good music or go outside just to loosen up my feelings.  I don’t like confrontations and arguments, so when I get angry, I better not to speak or talk about it until my anger submerge because I’m afraid I might say something I might regret, like what  Ambrose Bierce said “Speak when you are angry and you will make the best speech you will ever regret.”  

How would you define anger?  Anger is just an ordinary feeling, that’s why some people end up making it as one of their habit.  They let that negative emotion control their life, ruin their relationships and destroy their future.  It might be the hardest feelings to deal with but anyone have the power to avoid, control and get rid of this feeling.  It’s simply a matter of choice that you have to make.   It’s like choosing what to think and what to feel.   And if one has enough love in their life, it will be easy to throw away anger on their window.  And let’s not forget, no one gets angry end up being happy.

Are you a good Example?

We can easily learn by an example.  It’s our human nature.  Famous people, heroes and saints, taught and showed us how they achieved, earned the title and became who they are.  They leave and set as a good example.  They were our guide and inspiration to continue on dreaming and doing what is good and right.  Their good examples bring us hope and possibilities as we journey our life.

You and I can make a difference, by giving a good example to others especially to our children.   Be cautious with your words and actions for it can make or break the world we live in.  Let me leave with you a quote from Benjamin Franklin “A good example is the best sermon.” Happy Sunday to everyone!

The Gift

When was the last time you gave and received a gift?  What’s the best gift you’ve ever gave and received?  One of my favorite quote from a well known author of the book “Living, loving and learning,” Leo Buscaglia, said “Your talents are God’s gift to you. What we make of our talents is our gift back to God.”  It’s the same with what I’d read from an article says, “Our life is a gift and how we live our life is our gift to God.”  We are all blessed with so many gifts from God, our health, work, family, friends and love ones, even our own problems. It is a special gift we often overlook because of the pain it brings.  We sometimes fail to recognize its importance in building our character and making us a better person.  Without the gift of troubles and failures we will be as fragile as butterfly and we won’t able to attain the cloud of success.

Every day is a gift, a chance and opportunity to love, care and shares our blessing to others.  One of our blessings is our talent; we tempt to keep it to ourselves and our ability to perform our job well, yet we sometimes choose to give less. Steve Prefontaine said “To give less than your best is to sacrifice the gift.  We’re always called to do and give the best thing that we have in order to live life to the fullest.

Do you believe on Miracles?

The word miracle often makes me want to sing the song “I believe in dreams from Side A” If you’re into romantic melodies, I am sure you are familiar with it. It goes like this “I believe in dreams, I believe in miracles, I believe the toy balloons can reach the moon. Ah, you can sing the rest of song, I’ll leave it to you, because I know you can sing better than I. Anyway, what is miracle? I’ve search online to find how people define “miracle,” and this what I found. From all about philosophy it says “Miracle is when you’re down to your last dollar, have piles of bills to be paid, and a check arrives in the mail from some unknown source. From spiritual seduction it defines “Miracle is a correction. It does not create, nor really change at all. It merely looks on devastation, and reminds the mind that what it sees is false. And for me, miracle is simply God’s love working in our lives, either we believe Him or not still He didn’t give up on loving us. Do you believe on miracle? What is miracle for you?

Wear Patience

When things didn’t come along our way or when our hard work didn’t pay or when someone failed our expectations that’s the time we are called to be patience. Patience is very important in our work, relationship, and in our daily life, that’s why it’s a virtue.  Being impatient often bring us into troubles.  So always remember to be patient in everything that you do and everything that come your way.  You will only harvest what you planted.

Your destiny

Every one of us has its own destiny, because we are given choices to choose which  road to take.  And also God has its own planned for everyone that’s why sometimes things didn’t come along our way and no matter what we do we end up to where we should be and that’s our destiny.
