Change" is one of the word I often heard by
many people, change for government, change for job, change of plans, change for
partners and relationships and many other things that one person wish to change
in a moment if possible. Change is a very complex and wide topic, and what I am
going to emphasized is the reasons that hold people from changes. Well first
some people find it hard to change simply because they think and believe they
know what they're doing and they don't want other people tell them what to do,
these are those what they called as closed minded individual. Second, is the
fear of changes, stepping into unfamiliar ground can be very challenging, and
not everyone enjoy challenges, the feeling of losing control of the things you
used to is quite difficult to accept. And finally is contentment, it's the word
that people find it hard to live and believe its existence and possibilities,
some people who already find happiness and contentment with what they have and
what they're doing on their life, won't accept changes no matter what you do.
In order to understand why changes seems hard and
impossible, let me think and expressed the other side. We all know how hard is
it to change our own thoughts and beliefs on certain things, so how much more
on trying to change other people? Being open minded helps us to grasp the
situation we are trying to change, since we are dealing with people whom we
love and care, so it's very much important that we must learn to know the
person in a more profound and deep manner, like putting ourselves into their
shoes in order for us to understand why changes can't be difficult for them. Change
is like looking yourself at the mirror, if you don't like what you see then do
something. Change first, so there's greater possibility that others will do the
same thing. If you want others to understand and accept your advice for a
change, then try to figure it out to yourself, weigh it down and begin. No
matter what kind of changes you want to happen it always begins in you. Always
open you heart, not just your eyes and your mind for it gives limits. As one of
the famous philosopher, Søren Kierkegaard said, "Prayer does not change
God, but it changes him who prays."
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Thank you for reading my blog and always remember to smile and be happy for it's the best changes you give to yourself and to others. May God Bless us all!
